Wiring System Rework needed

My knowledge and skillset come from Factorio as I have not played satisfactory (only watched it) .

Diving into the wiring system was a bit of a nightmare where I spent 20 minutes trying to figure it out, (once again I did not have a tutorial for it if there was one as I lost it when I saved and re-entered the game). The first challenge was realizing that I needed a wiring tool coupled with the spools of wire. The second challenge was finding out how to connect everything together which took quite a while to figure out as nothing explicitly tells you whether something is connected or just out of power. The third challenge was that there was not enough visual cues for me to pick up that I was out of wire in my inventory and could not build. The 4th challenge was realizing that putting 4 solar panels next to each other does not mean they are connected and instead need to be wired? The 5th challenge was realizing that I need to destroy buildings to replace wires.
