Complicated roof and not enough freedom

The roofs are quite tricky to place, and sometimes the elements turn red, indicating that placement isn't possible. Like the roof in the photo, which was incredibly difficult to create.

I think there aren't enough different roof heights available; it would be great to be able to adjust the size directly, like with windows.
