  Instead of replacing the lower text section with a spinning graphic, maybe make the Autonomica /// backslashes an extending progress bar to the left?

  Agree with this, but I would love a moving component on the screen to track progress. Maybe a progress bar and keep the not-a-spinner spinner

  I thought maybe instead of a spinner, a conveyor belt across the bottom of the screen. Though I love the non-spinner it would be hard to know if you are frozen.

  If we need a spinner, just add one of the rubber ducks and make its eyes spin like googly eyes.
