Conveyor Speeds
Conveyors with set speeds 60-120-240-480 able to upgrade or downgrade to help balance item loads. Currently, conveyors slow way down with splitters or merger animations, so it would be cool to move 240 items into a splitter and have two conveyors moving at 60 items/min and a third at 120 to avoid making manifold systems.

In most automation games, there are several levels of structure. We could have equipment that increases transit speed depending on its level. -

wardogThis would also make it easier to prevent builders from getting stuck full of one resource and stopping them building as they can't accept the other type etc. You could slow down the amount you're inputting from the side that sends too much etc.
