the water bottle barely holds enough water for 1 to 3 plants. But an early quest gets you to plant 20. If you got unlucky and built your base far away from fresh water, this becomes a pain in the duck to deal with. I suggest either making plants take less water to grow each day, making the water bottle carry more water, or making you have to plant less crops for that quest.

KaiotySemi-related, but I feel when I am doing water I waste a lot of water because the affected area box appears to be pretty narrow. Sometimes I hit a plant and it shoots right up to full, others it's like I'm half missing it.
I think it would be a really nice QOL feature to highlight exactly where to water for a plant OR even allow you to click a plant and have it automatically use enough water to water it. Would feel a lot better knowing those refill trips are getting maximum value.
